Dear Junior Golfers,
I would like to thank those of you who were a part of the 2019 Junior Camps held at The Bucks Club. We had a very successful season and are looking forward to a repeat performance with returning juniors and some new faces. Please allow this letter to serve as an invitation for you and your friends to come back and enjoy our programs.
The cost will again be $280 per week, with a maximum of 20 students per week. Camps start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. To show our appreciation for your support, all students will receive a gift certificate for themselves and an adult for a complimentary 9-hole green fee at the Bucks Club! Please note, carts are not included.
We are requesting that all students wear a collared shirt or proper top for golf, and shorts. Please no gym shorts or jeans or tee shirts. Unfortunately, we cannot allow for improper attire due to golf course policy and teaching the juniors correct golf etiquette.
Sessions will cover all facets of the golf game including etiquette, chipping, putting, mid-irons, and woods. All students will play on the course under the supervision of the staff. Each day a light snack and a drink will be provided at the chosen break time for each group. If there are any dietary needs or allergies, please let us know at the beginning of the week. Also, if clubs are needed, please let me know prior to the first day of camp, preferably by the Friday before your designated week.
I have been a PGA professional for over 30 years. Since 1987 I have been exclusively a teaching professional and have taught at Green Valley CC, Woodcrest CC and the Bucks Club. I have given over 38,000 lessons during my career to players of all levels, from beginners to professionals. My teaching philosophy stresses simple basic fundamentals that are tailored to each student’s individual abilities and goals. Those fundamentals are used as a building block for students to achieve whatever level of success their work ethic and commitment will provide.
Please make sure you reserve early in order to get your desired session(s). Only cash or checks will be accepted. Please make checks payable to Cash or Jamie Shaffer. Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis. The limit for each camp is 20 students. If anyone is interested in signing up for multiple weeks, please do so as soon as possible. This will prevent you from not getting the additional week(s) you want.
On behalf of The Bucks Club, I anticipate a fun and educational Junior Golf Camp season.
